Quantify has officially secured patent protection for its modular smart home technology in 13 countries.
The latest patent to be awarded comes from Egypt, where the market is worth US$150m, growing at a rate of 26% pa.
Egypt joins Australia, USA, Mexico, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Morocco, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Japan and Israel, in awarding patent protection.
Quantify’s CEO Brett Savill said patent approval provides a significant advantage over potential competitors.
“The Patent protects Quantify Technology’s unique selling proposition, enabling the Company’s products to evolve over time without complete product replacement,” Brett said.
Patents are pending in 52 other countries / regions including the EU.
