Mark Lapins
Founder and CEO
Mark, creator of Q clever devices, is a leading innovator in the field of IP Communications Technology and Solutions.

Mark has had a career focused on the innovative use of technology across a diverse number of industry sectors including oil and gas industry integrated monitoring solutions, livestock monitoring solutions, IP communications and retirement living solutions. He has owned and operated innovative and successful technology companies for more than twenty years.

Acknowledging his skill and expertise, he has been invited as a key speaker to numerous forums on behalf of companies such as Cisco (a global leader in IP technology), industry bodies and IT providers. The systems he has devised have always been considered as fresh and innovative ideas that have delivered significant benefits over traditional systems or products used in the target markets.

Mark has also assisted organisations throughout the retirement living, healthcare and other sectors with technology solutions that have provided tangible benefits to all stakeholders with his innovative thinking.

Mark has a proven ability to successfully develop and commercialise new technologies as evidenced by the acquisition of a communications and monitoring solution for the retirement living industry which was acquired by global company Schneider Electric in 2008.

Alex Paior
Business Development and Legal Counsel
Alex is a lawyer with expertise in corporate governance and extensive business experience. He started his own legal practice in Adelaide in 1975 operating exclusively in corporate and commercial areas of the law for nearly 30 years. He was a founding partner of “Johnsons, Lawyers” which became one of South Australia’s leading commercial law firms and in 1994, became the South Australian Managing Partner of Phillips Fox, lawyers.

From 1996 to late 2005, Alex lived and worked in the United States becoming CEO of the world’s leading developer of emulsified fuel technology. Alex was responsible for all international marketing of that technology and its products. He was also responsible for commercialising that technology, obtaining regulatory approval for its sale and marketing them through licensing arrangements with large multinational companies in the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, France, South Korea, Mexico, Ecuador and Australia.

Alex is a partner of legal practice Alex Paior & Associates, based in Adelaide, South Australia.

Aidan Montague

With a strong Technology and Internet background and 25 years cutting edge experience in driving sales and marketing operations, Aidan has been fundamental in driving high growth technology companies on the world stage. Aidan compliments Quantify’s team with his rare combination of skills in business development that mixes traditional, offline sales and marketing with the very latest knowledge and experience in the online world.

Aidan was instrumental in the establishment and growth of Cisco Systems Australia – the Australian arm of the Internet/Communications global giant. Aidan has held a number of senior roles with Cisco Systems, both in Australia and overseas which included –

  •   Manager, Internet Business Unit – London
  •   General Manager – Sub Saharan Africa – Johannesburg
  •   Director, Strategic Alliances, Asia Pacific – Singapore

Aidan is also Chairman of technology company Panorama Synergy (ASX:PSY) – an entity that has performed strongly on the ASX in recent years.

Jasen Hill
Lead Electronics Engineer
Jasen is a highly skilled and experienced electronics engineer with a keen focus on creating market ready products of the highest standards and performance.

Jasen’s past experience involved chip design for microcontrollers for the Automotive and Whitegoods industries and included management of large International Design and Production teams implementing large switch ASIC designs for the Telecommunications industry. These roles included project management of product development and completion to shift production to Asian suppliers and factories from their development houses, as well as the implementation of quality procedures and systems when relating to Asian supplier interaction including implementation of 6-Sigma quality system requirements for high quality production.

Jasen completed his tertiary qualifications in 1992 as an Electronics & Communications Engineer from Curtin University of Technology WA and is a Registered Electronics and Communications engineer with current memberships to IEAust and APESMA.
