Blaq Thursday: major order secured

Quantify will have it’s products installed in at least three major developments in Wollongong, NSW.

This is no false alarm… we have officially signed an exclusive three-year agreement with innovative Sydney-based property developer, Blaq Projects, with the order worth in excess of $0.5M.

The Heads of Agreement targets an initial 267 apartments and two demonstration suites, which will be broken up into two parts, with part two going ahead, subject to performance in part one. Part one will see Quantify’s qDevices installed into 174 apartments across three locations. Part two will be a minimum of a further 93 apartments across two locations, with additional orders anticipated to follow.

Blaq Projects will install a turn-key solution, consisting primarily of Quantify devices, in addition to smart speakers and WiFi.

Quantify’s CEO Brett Savill said it was a delight to be working with Blaq Projects, who are renowned for their excellence in architecture and cost-effective building and design solutions.

“Blaq Projects are an innovative developer looking to lift the Wollongong property market to a new level and our devices will help them differentiate their properties, improving both pricing and turnover,” Brett said.

“This is a really exciting three-year partnership.”

This is also the first major order that will be distributed via Harvey Norman Commercial Division, since it announced its initial Quantify stocking order of $0.5M earlier this year.

As part of the Agreement, Quantify will honour a three-year fixed pricing scheme. Both companies have agreed to promote and market in consultation with one another, through blog posts, media articles and other advertising materials, as appropriate. The first installations are planned to take place before Easter 2020.
